Backstage Canarias S.L., as a music production company specialized in managing and developing music festivals, recognizes the need to implement measures that promote sustainability in its activities.

Through this statement, Backstage Canarias S.L., within the framework of the La Carpa music festival, commits to contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Canary Islands Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. This strategy involves all individuals, collectives, organizations, and institutional sectors of the Canary Islands to transform the current development model and bring it closer to the parameters of sustainability and resilience.

4. Raise awareness, inform, and train all festival participants on sustainability matters.
5. Develop a waste management system that encourages reduction, reuse, and recycling.
6. Promote responsible consumption practices by contracting local companies and encouraging KM 0 products.
7. Value and protect the quality of the starry sky by minimizing light pollution.
8. Implement a hiring and employment protection system that integrates social and gender dimensions.
9. Collaborate with local organizations on environmental issues, creating participatory networks and information exchange.
10. Monitor the event’s sustainability and communicate the actions implemented.
